This trinocular model has an additional port for mounting a camera, so you can record video or photos without replacing an eyepiece.

Optics

The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles. 0.5X and 2X Barlow lenses are included, which can be alternated to either halve or double the magnification range, expanding the possible magnifications to 3.5X-90X.

Ocular Adjustment

Dual ocular diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus, greatly improving productivity. Rotating interpupillary adjusters simplify the process of aligning the eyepieces for each user.

Trinocular Port

The switched trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for a camera. When the photo-port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images.

Single-arm Boom-Stand

The multi-pivoting stand provides a stable, flexible support system, ideal for hands-on work. The single-arm design provides heavy-duty support in a simple form. The head can be turned 360°, the focus-block can swing in either direction, and the lateral arm can rotate and swing to position the head at virtually any angle. The heavy, steel base ensures the stability of the microscope, even when laden with attachments.

Digital Imaging

This microscope comes with a 1080p multifunction camera which can be used to record directly while streaming images to a monitor or TV, or with a computer. Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps, while recording directly to a Secure Digital card at 25fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure. Optionally, a companion HDMI monitor can be attached directly to the camera, creating a self-sufficient turnkey system.

As an alternative solution, connect the camera to a computer via USB for remote software control. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.

The energy-efficient light-source projects bright, daylight-balanced light which is channeled through a 22" gooseneck fiber-optic light-guide. This allows you to project light from virtually any angle, targeting specific details of the object being viewed. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guides will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab without worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system which is much quieter than comparable incandescent illuminators due to the lower heat level generated by LEDs.
