FOD/FME Signs
Post safety signs to identify areas that have FME and FOD controls in place.
Anything and everything not in its proper place is considered to be Foreign Object Debris (FOD). Following Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) practices helps to eliminate costly damage and potential injuries. Keeping objects out of areas where they should not be left is a common practice in nuclear power plants, airport facilities and aircraft operations. Use signs to remind employees to keep debris from being dropped, left behind and unaccounted for in critical areas where equipment must operate flawlessly.
