Overview
The transmitter has an adjustable measuring range of 0… 600 V AC/DC and can therefore measure a wide variety of voltages. For example, it is possible to connect the transmitter to the supply line in order to monitor the applied voltage. In addition to voltage measurement, the transmitter can also measure the current directly with a maximum adjustable measuring range of 0 … 5 A AC/DC. A current transformer can be connected to the transmitter to expand the current range. The measured value is then converted by the transmitter into a standardized analog 4 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 V signal. Thus the transmitter is the ideal extension of a process control.
Since the input and output range can be set identically, the transmitter can be used for galvanic decoupling. The transmitter is configured directly via the keypad. This means that no additional cable or software is required for the settings of the signal converter. The transmitter is mounted on a DIN rail. The transmitter is operated with a voltage of 18 … 265 V AC/DC at a frequency of 45 … 65 Hz.
