5psi Preset Pressure Switch - records irrigation events when used with 900M datalogger.

The Pre-Set Pressure Switch (PPS) automatically closes at 5 p.s.i and opens when below 5 p.s.i. The 1/4" inlet should be connected to a location in the irrigation system to allow it to indicate the system is running when pressurized and not running when the system de-pressurizes, such as a lateral distribution line. The red and black wires are the switch output and can connect to any device designed to read a dry contact switch closure, such as the WATERMARK MONITOR series 900M. On the 900M, the PPS should be wired to any available port on the terminal strip, in line after any soil temperature and soil moisture sensors. The sensor type "SWITCH" should be selected in the setup process.
